>Because I am always being asked about my current work, I started this blog. Of course I would rather be in my studio than write about it. Keeping my blog up to date is on my list of New Year’s resolutions.  I think it will be easier than exercising more, maybe.

I should start with a recap of my show. The opening for the exhibition of my encaustic/mixed media paintings in New York, Artifacts of Gains and Losses was wonderful. The reception was very well attended and I sold a lot of work. It was a great night.

Disembark 24″ x 30″, caused a bit of a stir as a few people wanted to buy it.

Gihon Two 48″ x 20.5″, is one of the pieces that sold and has attracted the attention of a Chelsea Gallery. It really was a great night.
