Artists live a rather solitary life. Eventually we leave the security of our studios and venture into the world to show our work feeling both joyful and vulnerable. This Yin and Yang model of the artist’s life has worked for me so far, until I was recently asked to make a video for for my upcoming exhibition, A Curious Collection of Strangers. My Seattle gallery, Frederick Holmes & Co. asked me to make a video speaking in front of and about my work. This on camera experience attached to the uncontrollable world-wide-web has brought me to a galactic level of feeling vulnerable.  I will share it here with you.           Please be gentle.
