I am in the process of building a new studio and recently began the task of sorting through the detritus of 20 years of working in the same space. Usually there are paintings and bits of this and that in every studio most artists do not want to accidentally include in their posthumous oeuvre.  Some artists prefer to chop or burn their cast off work. I needed to find a peaceful solution because my studio is my sanctuary. I painted over many unwanted canvases and drawings with a roller and black house paint. It was meditative and made me so surprisingly happy, that I want to share it here with you:  The Black Show

My garage installation of the Black Show
